How to check eSIM support

  • On iPhone, open Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data and look for “Add eSIM.”
  • On Android, open Settings → Network & Internet, Connections or SIM Manager and look for “Add eSIM” or “Add mobile plan.”
  • Confirm the exact model and regional variant with the device manufacturer.
  • Ask your carrier whether the phone is network-unlocked.

Menu names and eSIM availability can differ by manufacturer, model, country and carrier. The presence of a compatible model name alone is not always enough.

Basic iPhone installation

  1. Connect the phone to Wi-Fi or another internet connection.
  2. Open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM.
  3. Choose “Use QR Code.”
  4. Scan the delivered QR code from another screen or enter the LPA details manually.
  5. Select the new eSIM for mobile data and enable data roaming when the plan requires it.

Installation warning

An eSIM QR code can usually be installed only once. Do not delete the profile unless you are sure it can be reinstalled or support instructs you to do so.

5G availability depends on the device, selected package, local operator and coverage. Actual speed varies with location and network conditions.
